Emil Sayfutdinov

Emil Sayfutdinov became one of the first Russians to win a senior speedway world championship when he won the 2018 Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations alongside Artem Laguta in Wroclaw, and they retained the trophy on home shale in Togliatti in 2019. The Salavat-born star raced to third place in the 2019 SGP series – matching the bronze medal he won in his debut season in 2009. Now the double World Under-21 champion is determined to go two places better and become the first Russian to lift speedway’s biggest prize.
