Polish star Bartosz Zmarzlik raced to 13 points for his country as they warmed up for the Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations Final with a 58-32 win over a Rest of the World side in Rybnik on Saturday.
The double world champion finished third behind team mate Pawel Przedpelski and Aussie champion Max Fricke in his opening outing, but hit back with four wins to top the Polish score chart.
He was brilliantly supported by his fellow Monster Energy SON squad members Maciej Janowski and Dominik Kubera, who collected 11 paid 13 points apiece.
SGP 2022 qualifier Patryk Dudek notched nine paid 10 and World Under-21 champion Jakub Miskowiak accrued eight paid nine, with GP Challenge winner Pawel Przedpelski scoring six.
Fricke was the Rest of the World team’s best performer on his old home track with eight paid 10 points, while Rohan Tungate scored seven and Dan Bewley collected six paid seven.
