Danish champion Anders Thomsen raced to 12 paid 13 points for Gorzow as they stormed to a 49-41 victory away to Leszno in the PGE Ekstraliga’s bronze medal play-off on Sunday.
The FIM Speedway Grand Prix star dropped just two points to an opponent as he led the way for the men in yellow and blue.
He was brilliantly backed up by world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik. He scored 12 points just two days after leading Poland into the Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations Final with victory in Semi-Final 1 on Friday.
Slovak star Martin Vaculik added nine paid 10 points, while Rafal Karczmarz delivered one of his performances of the season on nine.
Aussie ace Jason Doyle followed up his stellar display for SON Semi-Final 2 winners Australia, leading the Leszno score chart on 12 paid 13.
Polish star Janusz Kolodziej raced to 11 paid 12, while teenage star Damian Ratajczak impressed on seven paid 10.
Emil Sayfutdinov scored just two points on what could be his final home appearance for the Bulls, with the rider out of contract at the end of the season.
Posting on Facebook, the apologetic world No.3 wrote: “I'm sorry. That’s all I can say after today's match. Thank you for all your support. We don't know what happened.”
The play-off final, first leg between Lublin and Wroclaw has been delayed until Thursday due to rain.
