FIM Speedway Grand Prix star Janusz Kolodziej built on his memorable 2019 by landing his fourth Polish Championship in Leszno on Sunday.
Kolodziej, who won his first SGP in Prague last month, topped the box the hard way after scoring 12 points to reach the semi-final, in which he took second place behind Piotr Pawlicki.
But he took the chequered flag in the race that mattered most, beating world No.2 Bartosz Zmarzlik, Maciej Janowski and Pawlicki in the final.
Zmarzlik led the heat scorechart with a 15-point maximum only to be cruelly denied his first Polish senior crown, while Janowski finished the heats on 13 - also gaining automatic final qualification.
SGP star Patryk Dudek bagged 11 in the heats to reach the semi, but finished fourth behind Przemyslaw Pawlicki, who notched nine in his qualifiers.
World Under-21 finalists Maksym Drabik and Dominik Kubera fell just short of the top six on eight points apiece.
