Did You Know?
- The first FIM British Speedway Grand Prix held at the Millennium Stadium took place on 09 June 2001.
- Only one British rider out of the 16 who have ridden at the Millennium Stadium has won the Grand Prix in Cardiff - Chris Harris in 2007.
- He became only the second British rider to win the FIM British Grand Prix after Martin Dugard, as Wild Card, won the 2000 event at Coventry, ironically watched by a 17 year old, Chris Harris.

The car parks will have a staff presence from 9am, will open at 9.30am, with the first bus at 9:30am. The last bus will leave the pick-up point at 10.30pm, with the car park closing at 11pm.

Rail
- Cardiff Central Train Station
There will be a queuing system in place for this event, please visithttp://www.arrivatrainswales.co.uk/principalitystadium/for more information. We strongly advise you identify your queuing lane for your return journey before you attend the event.
- Queen Street Station
This station will close shortly before the end of the event, all trains will depart from Cardiff Central Train Station
Bus
- Local Buses
Buses will be diverted out of the central city centre bus stops. Bus displaced from stops within the closure will relocate to either Churchill Way for the East. Greyfriars Road for the North or Tudor Street for the West.

- National Express
National Express coaches will use Sophia Gardens as usual
Taxis
- St Mary Street Taxi Rank (Outside House of Fraser) will be closed from 6:00pm and re-open from 11.30pm
- Mill Lane Taxi Rank - Not affected, open throughout the day and night

BSI Speedway, working closely with the Principality Stadium, Cardiff Hoteliers' Association and Cardiff Convention Bureau, have also secured specially discounted accommodation for you.
As part of this offer, over 1,000 bed spaces have been secured and will be made available on a first come first served basis. The discounted rates are available on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and there is no minimum stay requirement, so if you want to come for one night only, that's fine!
This booking site is intended for Speedway fans only. The maximum amount of bedrooms that can be booked in one transaction is 6 for up to 12 people (including children).
